Harbinger Wars #4: Valiant’s Mega-Crossover Concludes

Harbinger-Wars-4-cover-2It’s the balls to the wall, “hardcore” conclusion, as all the players converge upon Las Vegas. Bloodshot, Peter Stanchek and the Renegades, H.A.R.D. Corps, and  Generation Zero (the escaped psiots) wreak unrelenting havoc and damage as writer Joshua Dysart with Duane Swierczynski, artists Clayton Henry, Mico Suayan, and Pere Perez, and colorist Brian Reber fire the final shot in Harbinger Wars, an event that changes the landscape for all parties involved.

With Cronus and Generations Zero demanding fair treatment and death to Project Rising Spirit, the stakes are high when H.A.R.D. Corps shows up for a bloody psiot hunt. Meanwhile, the Renegades wage a brutal battle against Bloodshot, as Peter attempts to take down the killer. And by the end? When Toyo Harada shows up on the scene, having complete control over Generation Zero thanks to his gaining access to their memory chip bombs, it appears he is holding all the cards. What does it mean for the future of the Renegades, Bloodshot, and the H.A.R.D. Corps? As I said, the landscape for these characters changes immensely, and will the results of the Harbinger Wars looks to have a vast impact on all the players.

Once again, Valiant’s creative forces bring to fruition one hell of a powerful, hell on wheels conclusion to one of the best crossovers to come along in a long time. With such superior creative forces at work, Valiant once again distinguishes itself from other comic publishers by offering original, well-written content provided by some of the best creators in the industry. Dysart and Swierczynski have been a powerhouse combo when it comes to writing, and Henry and the art team have been top-notch every issue. You cannot miss out on what will surely be one of the most talked about crossovers this year, and you can rest assure, you will not be disappointed. Harbinger Wars #4 is out now at Comixology and at comic shops, and if you missed the first three, I urge you to check out the previous issues on Comixology.
